This service evolved after SendGrid and other mail services have suspended their free-tier. We needed a simple and cost-effective alternative to power our contact forms. At the core this service provides a simple REST API where you can create a mail and you can configure a trigger which gets invoked on mail creation, i.e. we can post a message to a discord channel.
Our service is free, you only need to register an account in order to use our service. For power users there is also an option to obtain a basic or pro plan which allows you to send more mails.
